Paul Merson everybody
We had a feast of FA Cup action today with more than 20 fixtures down for decision.
It was a day where Wayne Rooney hit his 249th goal to take a place alongside Bobby Charlton as Man United's joint top goal-scorer. Ireland's Aiden McGeady impressed with an incisive run through the Arsenal defence to set up a goal that put Preston in front of the Premier League side.
Former Dundalk hero Daryl Horgan also made an appearance in that tie, coming on from the Preston bench in the final 10 minutes.
But in truth, the day truly belongs to football pundit Mr Paul Merson whose tips to progress to the next round all bowed out today.
Speaking to Sky Sports' Jeff Stelling, Merson named Everton, Stoke City and Bournemouth as the teams he suspected would survive today's challenges.
And in case you missed out on today's Round 3 action, you'll be shocked to discover that Everton were dumped out by Leicester, Stoke City shipped a 2-0 defeat to Wolves, while Bournemouth took a 3-0 walloping at the hands of Millwall.
To give him some credit, he made these predictions yesterday, and Merson seemed somewhat hesitant when it came to picking Bournemouth but aside from that, there's precious little we can do to cushion the blow of this catastrophic call.
