Preston's Irish striker Eoin Doyle and fellow forward Jermaine Beckford could be facing a reprimand after getting sent off for fighting each other during the club's 2-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship.

They are both likely to receive three match bans as a result of the incident.

Preston manager Simon Grayson, who hinted that there will be in-house punishments on top of any FA action, branded the players' actions an "embarrassment" and commented that, "You expect it in the playground between four or five-year-olds.
