A panenka is one of the most enduring, yet sickening sights in the game. You cannot help but be amazed by the bravery of the penalty taker, but also feel sickened for the hapless goalkeeper.
The 3-0 win eased the pressure on Everton manager Roberto Martinez. Since New Year's Day, Everton failed to win a league game in January despite advancing to the Fifth Round of the FA Cup. Barkley's goals on Wednesday night along with an Aaron Lennon strike made life happier for Everton's fans.
