Ryan Giggs and Craig Bellamy can be proud of their country's accomplishments despite that fact that Wales crashed out of the European Championships last night in a 2-0 defeat to Portugal.

Chris Coleman's side were arguably the best of the so-called 'smaller sides' in the tournament and picked up victories against Belgium, Russia and Slovakia, with their only defeat coming against England.

Speaking on ITV's coverage of the game, Giggs pointed out that Coleman and his team could take a lot of positives from this momentous achievement and bring their good form into the World Cup qualifiers this fall.

Wales meet Ireland in their group and Giggs wasted no time in trying to wind up fellow pundit, Roy Keane who was seated next to him.

"It's a nice easy group as well," Giggs said, prompting Keane to give him a playful but firm pat on the leg.
