Before last week's Ryder Cup even began, the two main talking points were that of Danny Willett's brother Pete and American fan David Johnson.

The North Dakota resident was invited onto one of the Hazeltine greens after continuously heckling Justin Rose over missing practice putts. Rose offered Johnson $100 if he made the putt the Olympic champion could not.

Luckily the shot was recorded for posterity.

Johnson is certainly enjoying his brush with fame, and even featured on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert earlier this week.

After "heckling" Colbert from the crowd, Johnson was brought up on stage to see if he could repeat the feat, with a cool $5 on the line. The putt was a little easier though, with a mock-up of a crazy golf hole being the obstacle.

Johnson has to putt the ball into Donald Trump's mouth and succeeded, before doing his celebration dance once more.
