Swansea City last night moved out of the relegation zone after a crucial 1-0 win at home to newly-promoted Watford.

Ashley Williams, the team's captain scored the games only goal to help the side move out of the relegation zone. They now lie in 17th place.

It has been a testing season so far for the Welsh side. Yesterday afternoon, they announced Italian Francesco Guidolin as the club’s Head Coach until the end of the season. He will work alongside Interim Manager Alan Curtis as the side try and avoid relegation.

Swansea return to action this weekend. They travel to Liverpool to face Everton in Goodison Park. That game kicks off at 1.30pm on Sunday afternoon.
