It might be a bit early to be talking about contenders for the 2017 Puskas award, but this spectaculr effort from Brazil is certainly worth a watch.

Botafogo's Camilo slammed home a rather brilliant bicycle kick against Grêmio in the Brazilian Série A on Sunday night after connecting perfectly with a ball whipped in from the right side.

Despite the presence of four defenders, the cross found its way to Camilo at the back post, whose acrobatic leap caught the sweet spot and fired the ball into the top corner, beyond the despairing dive of Bruno Grassi in goal.

That was the first goal of the match, and was followed by another from Sassá, which proved to be enough to see Botafogo over the line, despite a goal from Batista in the 80th minute to narrow their advantage and make the closing stags of the game a nervous affair.
