Tim Howard is doing his utmost to dispel the myth that footballers go to the US after their peak to pick up an easy wage.

The perception toward footballers past their prime in the MLS is that they don't really put as much effort as they porbably should because the standard of football isn't as high. Tim Howard clearly doesn't share this view.

Since joining Colorado Rapids after leaving Everton in May, the veteran keeper has been enjoying life in his homeland. During last night's game against Real Salt Lake, the 37-year-old produced an absolutely stunning save from the penalty spot.

Shkelzen Gashi's opening goal was cancelled out by two Yura Movsisyan goals for Real Salt Lake, to give them a 2-1 victory.
