Warriors trash Spurs in Game Two blowout

Golden State Warriors' dominance of the NBA's Western Conference does not look like stopping.

The 2015 Champions, who reached the Western Conference Finals unbeaten, have now won ten games in a row. On Tuesday night, they defeated San Antonio Spurs by 36 points in a blowout.

By half-time, the game was all but wrapped up with the Warriors comfortably winning 136-100. The 36-point winning margin is the second-biggest of this year's Playoffs, following the Spurs' 39-point win over Houston last week.

Kawhi Leonard is still missing for the Spurs, and the Warriors took advantage of that by rushing into a 17-point lead after the first quarter. That was extended to 28-points at half-time.

For the second game in a row, Steph Curry top-scored for the Warriors, scoring 29 points. Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson all scored more than ten points too.

After two matches, the Warriors have won their games by two-points and 36-points respectively. Game 1 saw the team come back from a 25-points deficit. The next two games in the series take place in San Antonio later this week.

Wednesday night sees the start of the Eastern Conference Finals. Boston Celtics host Cleveland Cavaliers in their opening match in the best-of-seven series.

The Celtics go into the game, having won the number one pick in this year's NBA Draft following a trade with the Brooklyn Nets in 2013
