Kick-off in West Ham's final match at Upton Park has been delayed - after Manchester United's team bus was attacked by fans.

Items - including bottles - were thrown as the coach arrived at the ground, damaging the outside of the vehicle.

Players are now inside the Boleyn Ground stadium.

"It wasn't nice. The coach got smashed up, but we're here now, so have to prepare for the game and go out and do our job," Man United captain Wayne Rooney said.

The Premier League game - which is vital to both sides - will now start at 8.30pm, rather than its original kick off time of 7.45pm.
