Weather puts an end to Day One at the US Open

Play has been suspended for the day at the US Open after just eight players were able to complete their rounds during a weather-interrupted opening day.

American Andrew Landry holds a narrow one-shot lead on 3-under but he will have one hole to finish tomorrow.

Shane Lowry is level par after 11 holes while Rory McIlroy is struggling on 4-over after 13 holes.

Graeme McDowell didn't even get a chance to start his first round today at Oakmont.
