Wexford scored 17 goals to beat the Cats at Nowlan Park in the Leinster minor football championship
Kilkenny's minors began their Leinster minor football championship campaign in the worst possible fashion as they fell to a 71 point defeat at the hands of Wexford.
Whatever hope the Cats had was all but extinguished by half time as the visitors led by 6-13 to no score.
Wexford didn't stop there, however, and continued to take their scores with an additional 11 goals coming in the second period.
The game finished 17-20 to no score.
Elsewhere today there were wins for Dublin over Offaly, Meath over Laois and Kildare over Wicklow.
There were wins also for Louth as they overcame Carlow by six points and Westmeath who comfortably eased past Longford.
