What happens when you lose a tooth during a game? You keep it in your sock

Atlanta's Dennis Schroder will be hoping the Tooth Fairy arrives this Christmas

Gum shields are becoming more popular in the NBA for a reason.

Don't be surprised to see the Atlanta Hawks' Dennis Schroder wearing one, after what happened the 22-year-old last night.

The German star clashed with the knee of opponent Meyer Leonard when one of his teeth popped out. Once finding the tooth on court, he simply put it in his sock for safe keeping and played on.

Hopefully the Tooth Fairy will be nice to Schroder this Christmas.
