Where next for Leeds United?

What a time to be a Leeds United fan!

Steve Evans was yesterday confirmed as the Head Coach. He is the seventh manager the club has has since Italian Massimo Cellino took over the club last year. Evans replaces the sacked Uwe Rosler, who only lasted 12 games in charge.

Adam Pope from BBC Radio Leeds joined Joe Molloy and Dan McDonnell on last nights Off the Ball Football Show to discuss the continuous circus that is happening at Elland Road.

Rosler "was so professional" according to Pope. He "was putting down the right sort of roots". Pope added that the German was working on a long term plan at the club which Cellino agreed to. The sacking was "unjust", Pope told Off the Ball.

Steve Evans has joined the club after leaving Rotherham United last month and Pope thinks the Evans has been mentioned in the job for a long time. Cellino "liked Evans antics on the touchline" when the two sides played last year. Pope thinks the Leeds fans will give Evans support despite their dislike for him when he was at Rotherham.

Cellino has been banned for a second time from running Leeds United, due to failing the Football League's fit and proper persons test. He has been banned for failing to pay VAT on an imported vehicle in Italy. Despite all his intricacies, Pope calls the Italian "very astute".

Steve Evans' first game in charge is away to Fulham this evening in The Championship.
