Zlatan Ibrahimovic hints he will stay at Manchester United

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hinted that he will remain at Manchester United for another year, after claiming that he "never leaves a job unfinished".

In quotes published by the Manchester Evening News, the Swede looks set to be in talks to stay on for another year and today Sky Sports reported that he was in talks to stay with United for another year.

Ibrahimovic joined United on a free transfer over the summer and has scored 26 goals in all competitions. He scored the winner in the League Cup final earlier this season as United beat Southampton 3-2 at Wembley.

"I enjoy. I’m a person when I go into something I put my head 200 per cent, and I do what I’m good at. I go in, I go for the kill and I go out," he told the Manchester Evening News.

"And when I go out there is no complaints, that’s what I do. I never leave a job unfinished.

"I always go in, do my job, and in the way that is a fair play, a fair deal, that is what I do."

Former Manchester United striker Andrew Cole today said he hopes that Ibrahimovic will extend his stay at Old Trafford beyond the end of the season.

Cole said his contribution during the current campaign means United should do all they can to keep him.

"I'm one of his biggest fans and I've always been," he said. "I like the way he plays football and his mannerisms. He speaks his mind and that's my cup of tea.

"The way he's come into Manchester United I think has been phenomenal."
