Bernard Dunne breaks down why Carl Frampton has too much for Santa Cruz

Bernard Dunne feels Saturday's world title fight rematch between Carl Frampton and Leo Santa Cruz will be close again but he's tipping the Belfast man to have too much at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

Frampton won the original bout last July by majority decision against the Mexican to claim the WBA (Super) Featherweight belt, after stepping up from Super Bantamweight level.

Ex-WBA Super Bantamweight champion Dunne feels Santa Cruz will try and tailor his approach.

But the Dubliner feels the Mexican's efforts will be in vain against the Belfast fighter.

"I think Santa Cruz will try and apply pressure early and try to keep Carl going on the back foot and keep him on the ropes," said Dunne on Off The Ball.

"I think Carl's reflexes are way too quick and I don't think Santa Cruz can stay too far out because I think if he does, Carl will pick him off and Carl will come out on top again. That's what we all want to happen. We all want him to keep that belt and keep moving forward because he's just such an incredible talent.

"I think the problem for Santa Cruz is Carl is so quick and can see what's coming. His head movement and upper body movement is very, very good."

Despite that, Dunne still envisages Santa Cruz being a "hell of a challenge" to overcome.

But he has seen improvement from Frampton in every fight he has engaged in, going from strength to strength.

While Frampton has now gone from Super Bantamweight to featherweight, Dunne feels he could even move up one more weight class some day.
