Round-up: Dublin stroll but Meath suffer in tonight's O'Bryne Cup action

All-Ireland champions Dublin have recorded a comfortable win over IT Carlow in tonight's O'Byrne Cup clash.

Two goals from Cormac Costello as well as another by Paddy Andrews left Jim Gavin's side with a commanding 3-24 to 2-8 result.

It wasn't a good night for Meath as they lost 2-8 to 0-11 to UCD in Simonstown.

Laois face Meath next, having beaten Carlow 1-16 to 1-9 at O'Moore Park tonight, while Longford lost narrowly to their hosts Westmeath by a 0-14 to 1-10 score at St Loman's Park in Mullingar.

A very impressive first-half performance from Louth helped them to a 2-11 to 0-7 victory over Kildare at Hawkfield while DIT defeated their hosts Offaly 2-11 to 0-10.

In the McKenna Cup in Ulster, Fermanagh edged St Marys 1-13 to 0-14 at Garvaghey, while two goals from Brian Neeson proved crucial as Antrim beat Queens University 3-11 to 1-11.
