Bohemians cult hero Tony O'Connor on Roddy Collins, the Bohs-Pats rivalry and cup final winners

Former Bohemians and St Patrick's Athletic star Tony 'Toccy' O'Connor is a man who won the League of Ireland titles with both clubs and the FAI Cup with the former.

As his two former clubs prepare to clash in a derby on Sunday, he sat down with Oisin Langan on Newstalk's Airtricity League Podcast to look back on some fond memories from his playing days.

From scoring the winner in the 2001 FAI Cup final win that sealed a double for Bohs  and what it was like to play for then manager Roddy Collins to how tense Pats-Bohs gets in comparison to the more infamous Bohs-Rovers derby, 'Toccy' shared a few insights.

"They're different derbies altogether. The Bohs-Rovers one, that speaks for itself," he said.

"The Bohs-Pats one, players get on with each other on and off the pitch and the supporters are more respectful [to each other]. They all seem to get on well and they congratulate you, the Pats supports if you do well and vice versa."
