Zlatan Ibrahimovic could equal a 91-year-old Manchester United record this weekend

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has settled well into life at Manchester United.

The 34-year-old has scored in all three of his competitive games with Jose Mourinho's side. After scoring the winning goal in the Community Shield against Leicester City, the former Sweden captain he also found the back of the net away to Bournemouth.

Ibrahimovic scored twice on his home debut last week. He scored either side of half-time to give Manchester United a 2-0 win against Southampton.

Those two goals mean that Ibrahimovic is 90 minutes away from matching a Manchester United record that is almost 100-years-old.

No Manchester United player has scored in their first four games for the club, since Jimmy Hanson did so in September 1925. Over the 1924/25 and 1925/26 seasons, Hanson scored against Hull City, Blackpool, Derby County and Aston Villa to write his name into the club's history books.

United travel to Hull this weekend with Ibrahimovic knowing he can match Hanson's record. You wouldn't put it past the Malmo-native matching the record and potentially going on to beat it against Manchester City after the international break.
