Three games to watch in today's BPL action

There are seven games in the Barclays Premier League today, and we choose our three games to keep an eye on throughout the day.

Chelsea v Liverpool

If there was ever an opportunity for Jurgen Klopp to pick up his first Premier League win then this would be it. They visit a Chelsea side that were humbled 2-1 at the hands of West Ham last week, and that is the least of their worries. The champions are in complete disarray, with Jose Mourinho's volatile public outbursts only mounting the pressure upon the Special One. Languishing in the lower echelons of the league, the Blues are sitting in 15th while the visitors are three points ahead in 9th.

After finally getting his first Liverpool win, Klopp will surely be looking to take home a big three points in the early kick-off. The midweek defeat of Bournemouth in the League Cup will be a timely confidence booster after previous results under the enthusiastic German.

Four games into Klopp's reign, Liverpool are unbeaten and we fancy them to make it five today.

Man Utd v Crystal Palace

This game provides United with a chance to get back to winning ways against a Palace side who are enjoying a great start to the season, but tasted defeat to Leicester last weekend.

Recent weeks have seen United control games but with little to no attacking impetus, relying on teen tyro Anthony Martial too often. Wayne Rooney's form has seen fans call for his culling and to play Martial up front rather than English veteran, but Louis Van Gaal is a stubborn man and he persists with the inclusion of his captain in the starting XI.

Palace are another side having a fantastic early season run of form, as they sit in 7th place after 10 games. The Alan Pardew revolution suffered a blip last week, losing to Leicester at the Kingpower Stadium, and it is difficult seeing them picking up a win at Old Trafford, particularly against United's miserly defence.

Despite their obvious inefficiencies in front of goal, one would have to fancy United to take all three.

Man City v Norwich

City have got their title challenge back on track following a dip in their form, and despite looking second best in last weekends Manchester derby, they have managed to climb back to the top of the league. Recent thumpings against Newcastle and Bournemouth have struck fear into the defences across the Premier League, and despite scoring naught last week, we expect them to stick a couple away today against the third most porous defence in the league.

The Canaries haven't won since September 23rd, losing their last three BPL games, while City have not lost since playing Spurs on the 26th of September, scoring 18 goals in six games. There can only be one winner as the Sky Blues look to extend their lead at the summit of the table.
