AUDIO: Mourinho calls out Sky Sports pundit

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has slammed an unnamed Sky Sports pundit for criticising his striker Diego Costa after the Spaniard stamped on two Liverpool players during last night's League Cup semi-final second leg at Stamford Bridge.

The debate raged following Chelsea's 1-0 extra-time victory - Branislav Ivanovic heading the Blues through in the 94th minute - over whether Costa's stamps on Martin Skrtel and Emre Can were intentional.

When asked about the two incidents, Mourinho said: "I don't know what to understand by 'stamp'.

"I think that maybe you are already to influence by - I'm going to use a word that put me in trouble, but I think this time I cannot be punished to say there is a campaign on the television with a certain pundit that he is saying 'Diego Costa crimes'.

"What you call 'stamps' and Sky calls 'crimes' - I have to say that absolutely accidental," added the BT Sport ambassador. "This guy must be nuts, this guy that is saying that must be nuts."

Mourinho continued: "When you are there and you are paid - and you are very well paid, much more than some managers that have to put their ass every 90 minutes every weekend on the bench.

"These guys they have very good seat, very good money, no pressure, they are always right, they never lose, they always win, but they have to fair and they have to be honest.

When one reporter pushed the Portuguese to name the pundit - Mourinho responded: "Forget it. Let's go to Wembley! Come on!"

Both The Telegraph and the Daily Mirror are saying Jamie Redknapp is the analyst in question, and the former Liverpool midfielder was indeed damning of Costa after the game, and was adamant that the Spanish striker's actions were intentional.
