Petr Cech has officially left Chelsea to sign for Arsenal.
His new club say the Czech international joined on a long-term contract, for an undisclosed fee.

Cech has written an open letter to the club's supporters - thanking them for his time at Stamford Bridge and also revealed that he approached club owner Roman Abramovich and asked him to be allowed to join another Premier League club.

The long-time number one at Stamford Bridge was second choice to Thibaut Courtois last season, so moves across London in search of regular starts.
Arsenal's goalkeeping options last season were David Ospina and previous No 1 Wojciech Szczesny, who lost his league starting place in January.
