Bosnia manager confident of overcoming "unpleasant" Ireland

On Sunday morning, Ireland discovered its Euro 2016 playoff fate as we were pitted into a two-legged tie against a Bosnia & Herzegovina side which will provide stiff opposition.

But judging from comments attributed to Bosnia manager Mehmed Bazdarevic, the 2014 World Cup participants appear confident of getting past Martin O'Neill's side next month - and one word stands out.

"Everyone is commenting here that we got the most difficult opponent. However, I think that all rivals are difficult in their own way. There are no easy ones. The Irish are unpleasant, but we have our advantages," the Sarajevo Times report him as saying after the playoff draw.

The first leg takes place in Bosnia on November 13th, with the return match on the 16th at the Aviva Stadium.
