Conor Murray: "It's probably a little bit dangerous that we don't fall in love with ourselves"

Conor Murray is mindful of Munster not falling into a false sense of security ahead of their Guinness Pro 12 clash against Leinster.

The Ireland scrum-half and his provincial team-mates are coming off the back of a 47-0 win over Zebre in their last outing.

But with Leinster coming up, Murray knows that Munster will need to put their last victory out of their minds.

"It was a nice win. It's probably a little bit dangerous that we don't fall in love with ourselves after running in seven tries. You've got to be realistic. It's going to be a lot tougher this weekend up in the Aviva," he told Live95FM.

He also said that there are "no issues parking friendships for the 80-plus minutes" against his international colleagues from Leinster.

The match is also vital in terms of Munster's attempts to secure European rugby for next season and Murray says that aspect cannot be played down.

"Every player knows where we stand in the league, how tight it is, how important the top tier of Europe is to this province, so not qualifying for the quarter-finals this year, that's probably one positive you can take out of it [that] we can fully concentrate on the Pro 12 and making sure we qualify for the Champions Cup next year," he said.
