Dan Leavy: "There is nothing to celebrate yet."

Grand Slam winning flanker Dan Leavy says Leinster have nothing to celebrate after the province's 30-19 Champions Cup win in the Aviva stadium earlier this afternoon.

Leavy ran in a try and man of the match performance infront of a strong 52,00 crowd as his Leinster side denied the English outfit an opportunity of a hat-trick of successive Champions Cup titles.

Leavy is taking nothing for granted. He pointed out that Leinster lost out on the semi-final stage against Saracens, last year. He says they will to get carried away with the victory over last seasons winner.

The 23-year-old spoke with OTB'S Davie McIntyre after today's match in the Aviva.

"We're in the semi-final. We got the semi-final last year, and got beaten. So, there is nothing to celebrate yet."

The Leinster side lost out in both Champions Cup and Pro-14 League semi-finals last season. They will take on the Scarletts in the next stage of the European Cup. The Welsh outfit defeated Leinster in last year's Pro-14 semi-final. Leinster were the first side in the competitions history to lose a home semi-final.

The man of the match says Leinster are looking for the crowd to give them a boost with another big crowd in the Dublin 4 venue.

"All I'm saying - We have Scarlets back here in the Aviva in three weeks. We'd love to get a full house. It does sound like a cliche but it does make a massive difference. It give the players that five percent lift. It was brilliant today with the support, and we want to see another full house, be back here,' said Leavy.

The St. Michaels man says the team have lots of room for improvement, and hopes they can put in a more complete performance against the Scarlets in three weeks time.

"That's a lot of things we can brush up on and hopefully we can get a more rounded performance."
