Frank Lampard finally made an impact last night in MLS as he scored his first goal for New York City FC.
The former Chelsea and Manchester City midfielder captained the side for the first time, and scored in the 20th minute in a 2-0 over Toronto FC.
Lampard made his fifth appearance for his new team last night, since his debut last month against Montreal Impact. City currently lie in eighth place in the Eastern Conference, two points outside the end of season play-offs.
