The French national anthem will be played ahead of all of this weekend's Premier League matches.
The league is describing it as an "act of remembrance and solidarity" after the Paris terror attacks.
All clubs have been provided with a security briefing, ahead of the first top flight games since last Friday's events in France.
The anthem, La Marseillaise was sung by all in attendance at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday night when England hosted France in an international friendly.
