PIC: Heaslip the only card added to Ireland deck for Cardiff

Ireland have made just one change for this Saturday's Six Nations clash against Wales.

The only alteration for the victory over England is the addition of Jamie Heaslip in the back-row, in place of his Leinster team-mate Jordi Murphy.

Heaslip had suffered three fractured vertebrae in the win over France last month but is fit enough to take his place in the starting XV.

Jonathan Sexton will also start at fly-half for the crucial match, having been given the all-clear during the week, and Sean O'Brien is also named after being substituted early at the Aviva Stadium two weeks ago.

Captain Paul O'Connell will win his 100th cap, while Cian Healy could win his 50th from the bench.

Tommy O'Donnell, who was on the bench against England, is replaced among the substitutes by Murphy.

If Ireland beat Wales, they will move within one step of a Grand Slam title, with a final match against Scotland to follow.

Wales head coach Warren Gatland named an unchanged side yesterday.

Replacements: Sean Cronin, Martin Moore, Cian Healy, Iain Henderson, Jordi Murphy, Eoin Reddan, Ian Madigan and Felix Jones
