The Champions League draw takes place this afternoon with changes made to the band of top seeds.
As of this season, irrespective of UEFA rankings, the reigning champions along with the champions of the top seven leagues will be top seeds. That means teams like Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid may be drawn with the chmapions from one of Europe's top leagues.
"It's going to make the draw a little more interesting than it has been in recent years" ESPN's John Brewin told Off the Ball last night and he cited the recent pairings of Real Madrid and AC Milan along with Bayern Munich and Manchester City as examples of how the draw became stale.
The draw take place this evening at 4.45pm.
