'I would never ever discount Roger Federer'

The eyes of the tennis world, continue to focus on South West London as The Championships at Wimbledon enters the second round. Barry Flatman, Tennis Correspondent with The Sunday Times joined Ivan on Newstalk Breakfast this morning to look ahead to the remainder of the tournament.

Serena Williams and her sister Venus have withdrawn from the Women's Doubles draw. It is a tournament, they have won on five occasions. Flatman told Ivan that the withdrawal puts doubt into whether Serena can win the Singles title. "If everything is fit and well with Serena Williams, you cant see anybody beating her", Ivan was told.

Sabine Lisicki is a "dangerous prospect on grass" and Flatman told Ivan that the former finalist is his tip to cause a shock.

In the Men's draw, Novak Djokovic is expected to play his French Open conqueror Stanislas Wawrinka in the semi finals. The Swiss star might have the psychological upper hand according to Barry, due to his performance at Roland Garros when he defeated the Serbian.

On the other side of the draw, Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal have all been drawn together. Murray's chances of winning the tournament are "very good" according to Flatman.

Roger Federer's performances have impressed Flatman so far. He also told Ivan that the big serving Milos Raonic could cause some surprises throughout the tournament.
