Conor McGregor made history at UFC 205 with an assured win over Eddie Alvarez to become the first two-weight division champion in the franchise.
It took McGregor less than two rounds to polish off the Alvarez challenge and spark the celebrations. And the good times continued for 'The Notorious' after the fight when he confirmed that his long-term girlfriend Dee Devlin, is expecting their first child next year.
Speaking to UFC media, a humbled McGregor said:
"I've got a lot of things on, I'm about to be a Daddy next year. I'm freaking out over that one a little bit to be honest because I don't really know what I'm doing."
Speaking about his future prospects and plans in UFC, he admitted that he's tempted by the prospect of furthering his achievements and pursing the belt at 170Ibs.
"I hold all the cards now so somebody's gonna have to present something really sweet to keep me sweet because I keep proving what I'm saying and I am the reason the company was sold for $4.2bn.... I mean I'm open for it (a third belt at 170Ib) let's see let's talk."
