Ireland name strong side for England game

Ireland have named a strong side for their final World Cup warm up game this weekend.

Joe Schmidt's side go into the game against England on the back of a defeat against Wales and will hope to stop the slide ahead of the World Cup opener against Canada.

The team is Ireland's strongest of the warm up games and may be close to what is picked against Canada on September 19th in Cardiff. Simon Zebo starts at full back in a bid to show his versatility in the back line, while Dave Kearney starts on the wing. There is no place in the matchday 23 for Rob Kearney.

The pack looks close to full strength with Mick Ross returning to the front row with Jack McGrath and Rory Best. Despite reports earlier this week, Cian Healy failed to make the matchday squad.

England yesterday named a strong side for the game in what will be the teams last match before the World Cup begins.
