David Meyler has joined the ever-growing list of absentees for the Euro 2016 playoff with Bosnia & Herzegovina.
The Hull midfielder is out for eight weeks after tearing a knee ligament in a training ground challenge with Marc Wilson this week.
The 26-year-old Cork native joins the likes of Shane Long (injury), Jon Walters (suspension), John O'Shea (suspension) and Shay Given (injury) in missing one or both legs against the Bosnians.
Meyler has 14 caps for Ireland, since making his senior debut against Oman three years ago.
The Republic of Ireland squad will familiarise themselves with the stadium in Zenica with a light session this evening.
