Spain qualified for Euro 2016 last night after a 1-0 win over Ukraine in Kiev.
It was a mixed night for Cesc Fabregas. The Chelsea star made his 100th appearance for his country, aged 28. He became only the tenth play to play 100 times for Spain.
Sadly for Fabregas, he missed a penalty in the first half. Should manager Vicente del Bosque have known the risk of letting Fabregas take the penalty kick?

Surely the statistics mean that we should only ever see the Chelsea star take penalties for his country in penalty shootouts and not during a game.
