It's definitely not a case of many happy returns for Tiger at The Open

Tiger Woods recorded his worst Open score on Day One of the tournament at St Andrew's.

The former World No 1 and 14-time Major winner ended on 4-over par, having put his ball into the Swilcan Burn river on the very first hole.

American Dustin Johnson remains the clubhouse leader on 7-under par.

Scot Paul Lawrie, who lifted the Claret Jug in 1999, sits one shot back on 6-under for the round.

You can keep an eye on the placings via our live leaderboard and Off The Ball's Joe Molloy will be chatting to us live from St Andrew's tonight and across the weekend.
