Brian O'Driscoll believes the way that this year's Rugby World Cup ended for Dan Carter was fitting.
The All-Black superstar, who missed the apogee of the 2011 victory through injury, was in imperious form last Saturday as he helped New Zealand to defeat Australia and Off The Ball's premier rugby correspondent felt the manner of Carter's performance in a winning cause was a deserving way to go out on the top.
"[It's a] fairytale for Dan. It's only right that a player of his caliber - having missed out four years ago - gets to do it in the manner in which he did. And they needed him to turn it around for them and steady the ship when Australia got back into it. So it literally couldn't have gone any better for Carter," said Brian.
He also spoke about what he loved about Nigel Owens' refereeing style as the Rugby World Cup final official joined us on the show.
