Keith Wood: 'I'd be very disappointed if the crowd doesn't get up significantly more'

Keith Wood says he will be "disappointed" if Munster do not get a huge home crowd for their Pro 12 semi-final against Ospreys on Saturday.

He and The Irish Times' Gerry Thornley joined us always on Off The Ball's Wednesday Night Rugby as the Guinness Pro 12 gets ready for the playoff stage with Munster hosting Opsreys and Ulster travelling to Glasgow Warriors.

"They're now in the position to vie for a trophy. They're in a home semi-final and this becomes the point of where all the fans that have been there - and fairweather and others that come to watch Munster - this is the time that you want to be in the stadium, when your team have the chance of winning a trophy," said Keith of Munster.

"I'd be very disappointed if the crowd doesn't get up significantly more. And I know that the Munster badge have been working very hard on ticketing and all those elements and I think there's great opportunity for clubs, underage teams and associations to get good value tickets. They should push that as much as they possibly can because the closer to full they can get Thomond Park, the better chance it is for Munster to actually win on the day, but the better chance it is for Munster to reignite some of the things that it's lost over the last couple of years.

Keith and Gerry also analysed the change in Munster's attacking approach under Anthony Foley this year, as well as giving their take on Ulster's chances at Scotstoun Stadium.
