Leeds United have insisted that the club is "not for sale" despite actor Russell Crowe recently expressing an interest in buying out the Cellino family.
Crowe says he would consider purchasing the club, but only if approached and with the backing of the fans, but Leeds chairman Andrew Umbers says that the owners have no interest in selling their stake, despite confirmation recently that former president Massimo Cellino will not be returning to the role.
"The club is not for sale nor do the Cellino family wish to sell and nor have we received any approaches contrary to reports in the press today," said Umbers.
