Man City shell out over €30 million to bring in teenage Brazilian striker

Manchester City have signed 19-year-old Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus from Palmeiras.

The fee is a reported £27 million (€30 million).

The forward is part of Brazil's squad for the Olympic football tournament and will link up with City in January.

The player scored 19 goals in 30 matches for Palmeiras this season across all competitions and has been prolific in terms of his goals-to-game ratio for Brazil's under-20s and under-23s.
