The Oakland Raiders have not had a winning season since 2002, yet lie 7-2 after the opening nine games of the season.
Jack del Rio's side have been one of the surprises of the season, are are currently the projected second seeds in the AFC behind the New England Patriots. On Sunday night the Raiders won their third game in a row, beating the SuperBowl champion Denver Broncos 30-20 in California.
Running-back Latavius Murray scored three touchdowns in the win, as the Raiders dominated the match on the ground, with none of their touchdowns coming via quarterback Derek Carr.
In the NFC, the Dallas Cowboys are continuing their excellent season under rookie quarterback Dak Prescott. The Cowboys were comfortable 35-10 winners over the Cleveland Browns. At 7-1, the Cowboys are on course to be the top seeds in the conference.
