Minnesota Vikings opened their new stadium with a 17-14 win over NFC North rivals Green Bay Packers.
Sam Bradford started his first game for the team at quarterback, after the pre-season injury to Teddy Bridgewater, and the former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback led the team in a composed display in Minneapolis. Bradford threw for two touchdowns for 286-yards in the win.
After losing Bridgewater at the start of the season, the Vikings may be without star running-back Adrian Peterson for a long period too. The 31-year-old left the game in the third quarter after suffering a knee injury.

With Tom Brady banned for the first four games of the season, New England Patriots were forced to use their third-choice quarter-back Jacoby Brissett after Jimmy Garoppolo sprained his right shoulder.
Garoppolo impressed before his injury, throwing three touchdown passes in the first half. Brissett will be expected to play on Thursday night against Houston Texans.
Five other teams have a perfect 2-0 record in the opening rounds. Denver were 34-20 winners over Indianapolis, Pittsburgh beat Cincinnati 24-16 in an AFC North battle and Baltimore defeated Cleveland 25-20, despite trailing 20-0.
Houston were 19-12 winners against Kansas City and the New York Giants scored with the last kick of the game to be New Orleans 16-13.
