Nacer Chadli scored twice to send Spurs on their way to a 4-0 win over London rivals QPR. Harry Redknapp’s return to White Hart Lane for the first time since his dismissal in 2012 proved to be a disappointing afternoon. Spurs recorded their third win from three this season under new boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Emmanuel Adebayor and Eric Drier also scored for Tottenham to make it two losses from two for Redknapp’s QPR.
Spurs had the game wrapped up before half-time, with Chadli’s brace coming in the first 37 minutes, while Dier’s goal sat between those two on the half hour. Adebayor added the fourth on 65 minutes.
