Novak Djokovic comfortably advances to the Last 16

There were no major shocks today at Wimbledon as the two top men's seeds in action comfortably reached the Fourth Round.

Reigning champion Novak Djokovic defeated Bernard Tomic in straight sets. The Serbian Number One won 6-3, 6-3, 6-3. He remains on course to face Stanislas Wawrinka in the semi finals. The French Open champion defeated Fernando Verdasco 6-4, 6-3, 6-4.

The top two men's seeds to fall were Canada's Milos Raonic and Gregor Dimitrov. The Canadian Number Seven seed lost to Australian Nick Kyrgios in four sets in a repeat of last years final. Former World Number Seven Richard Gasquet defeated the Bulgarian Dimitrov in straight sets on Centre Court.

In the Women's draw, there was a straight sets win for Maria Sharapova over Irina-Camelia Begu. Lucie Safarova defeated the American Sloane Stephens in three sets. The biggest Women's casualty was Number 30 seed Belinda Bencic. She lost in straight sets to American Bethanie Mattek-Sands.
