PICS: Conor McGregor taunts Floyd Mayweather with 'insult suit'

Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor faced each other in public last night ahead of their fight next month - and McGregor managed to sneak in extra taunts through his clothing.

Both men faced off at a press conference in Los Angeles yesterday, the first in a series of publicity events this week ahead of the main event on August 26th.

The Irish MMA fighter - not known for his subtlety - wore a 'pinstripe' suit that featured lines and lines of a particular refrain:

The event also featured more traditional barbs, with McGregor boasting: "As far as the fight, he will be unconscious inside four rounds. The movement, the power, the ferociousness - he has not experienced this.

"I don't fear him. I don't fear this limited set of fighting - this is a limited set of rules that makes this half a fight, a quarter of a fight. This isn't a true fight."

Mayweather - the former five-weight boxing world champion and a clear favourite for the upcoming bout - also delivered plenty of taunts.

The boxer (40) told his opponent: "I'm an old man - I'm not even the same man I was 20 years ago. I'm not the same fighter I was ten years ago [...] five years ago [...] two years ago - but I've got enough to beat you.

"We know Mr 'Tap Out' likes to quit... and you will wave that white flag," he added.

Both men are expected to earn tens - or perhaps hundreds - of millions of dollars for their boxing 'superfight' in Las Vegas.

The pair are also scheduled to appear at press conferences in Toronto, New York and London this week.
