Former Ireland international Paddy Mulligan believes Manchester United were overhyped
The ex-Chelsea and Crystal Palace defender previewed the weekend's action with Oisin Langan and started off by looking at United's match against Palace.
"United have been over-hyped in the past number of months. They went on a run of six or seven games in succession and that's great, there's no questions. But there's still an awful lot of flaws in their game and they're still very weak defensively. Midfield is still a big problem area and certainly up front, Rooney is the only one that they have who's trying to fire on some sort of cylinder," he said.
"But I was extremely disappointed in Rooney against Everton. I thought he was extremely poor and he wasn't overly impressive last Saturday."
