Paul Pogba: "The Good, The Bad and The Indifferent"

Paul Pogba has endured an inauspicious start to his second stint at Old Trafford since his big-money move back to Manchester from Juventus in 2016.

The Frenchman starred for his national side when they lifted the 2018 World Cup in Russia but has struggled to replicate his form for his club side.

Pogba missed a penalty but scored the rebound as United beat Everton 2-1 at Old Trafford on Sunday and former Republic of Ireland manager, Brian Kerr, analysed his performance, telling Off the Ball's Nathan Murphy: "There's nonchalance about him at times and a carelessness where he tries the hard difficult one - the fancier one that looks well but is not the sensible thing to do at certain stages of the game.

"His decision making is certainly open to question and he doesn't seem to be getting any better on that side of it.

"But, watching him with the ball and some of the stuff he did with the ball, was brilliant. The pass he gave, the choice of pass he gave, the weight of the pass for Martial to knock it into the net was superb.

"It was the right choice at that moment but he doesn't always make them but there was some brilliant passes. The one first half to Martial from the right-hand side where he just drifted it in behind Seamus Coleman on the far flank was very good.

"We saw it all with him today: the good, the bad and the indifferent," he added.
