Robbie Keane's international career may be in its final lap, but his spell in Los Angeles does not look like stopping any time soon.
The Irish captain scored one of his best goals last night for LA Galaxy as the MLS Cup Champions conceded five goals in the second half, to lose 5-2 to Portland Timbers.
Keane scored the games first goal when he lobbed the Timbers goalkeepers after a long pass from defence. It's worth listening to the commemtator say "Robbie's not a speed demon" seconds before the Irish captain runs in behind the Timbers defence to score.
Last night's goal was Keane's 19th of the season. He is the third top scorer in MLS this season behind Sebastian Giovinco and Kei Camara who have both scored 22 goals. It's worth noting that Keane has played nine games fewer than that duo.
Oh, Robbie Keane... what can't you do? #LAvPOR http://t.co/Jrhg1cRNRh
