Quinn Roux's loan move from Leinster to Connacht has been made permanent.
The Westerners have confirmed the second row has signed a new two-year deal that keeps him at the Sportsground until 2017.
Kerry second row Ultan Dillane has also signed a new two-year deal having impressed in recent performances.
Head coach Pat Lam said: "We are very excited to have both Quinn and Ultan staying with Connacht for at least the next two years.
“They are both young, abrasive locks who have real physical presence.
"I believe with continued game time and exposure at this level, they have the potential to play for Ireland in the near future.”
