Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has told Jose Mourinho to stop being a moan bag.
Speaking on ITV’s Champions League show the Cork native said Mourinho was losing sight of what was important with his continuing quest to settle scores.
Mourinho questioned United's critics once again as they inched closer to the Champions League last 16.
They beat Benfica a 2-0 at Old Trafford Tuesday night to make it 4 wins from 4.
It looks likely they'll now finish top of Group A.
The Red Devils boss though seemed agitated after the game despite the win:
“It's better for the specialists to comment on the game than for me to give my opinion.
“The specialists are paid to comment on my work, so let them comment.”
Keane was critical of the Manchester United manager and his obsession with those who criticise him.
Some fans jeered Mourinho for his decision to substitute Marcus Rashford in last week’s 1-0 Premier League win over Tottenham.
The Red Devil’s boss noted the boos in his programme notes for Tuesday's Champions League win over Benfica: "I hope that you enjoy the game more than some of you did against Tottenham."
“My only concern about Mourinho is that he seems to be distracted by the so-called critics out there," stated Keane, in his role as an ITV pundit.
“He is probably paid eight, nine or ten million pounds a year so focus on your own job. Rise above that. He should be better than that, but he seems to be easily upset.
“Shut up and get on with your job. You are getting very well paid for it.”
