Simon Zebo among three expected to return to Munster training this week

Simon Zebo is expected to train with Munster this week despite picking up a dead leg in last Saturday's Champions Cup clash with Glasgow.

Tommy O'Donnell may return having missed out at the weekend with an ankle injury while Peter O'Mahony is following the return to play protocols.

A win for Munster at Thomond park against Racing 92 this Saturday will guarantee a home quarter-final.

Speaking to Off The Ball on Monday night, former Ireland head coach Eddie O'Sullivan said the manner of their victory against the Warriors at the weekend has given the Reds a boost.

"Munster feel like at the moment 'you know what, it doesn't matter who we play now, we can get somebody and on the day we can beat them'," he said.

"They might be better than them on paper, but they're at a place where they're not playing a game on paper anymore. They're playing with a combination of their energy and they are in a good spot.

"If they get a home draw, I'm not going to back against them at Thomond Park in a quarter-final. That home draw is locked in unless the wheels totally fall off."
